What we collect

Nothing. Zmanim has no account, no sign-up and no server. Your chosen city and preferences are stored in the device's own storage only and are never transmitted. There is no advertising, no analytics, no third-party SDK and no advertising identifier.

Location

The app declares ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION in order to suggest your nearest city instead of asking you to pick one from the list.

• The permission is optional — if you decline, the app works fully; you simply choose a city manually.
• Location is used only for on-device calculation, using NOAA solar-position formulas.
• Location is not logged to a history, not sent to any server and not shared with anyone.

Fully on-device calculation

Every time — dawn, sunrise, latest Shema, midday, sunset, nightfall — plus the Hebrew date and the Omer count is computed on the device with no network connection. The app works in airplane mode.

Deletion

Uninstalling the app removes all preferences from the device. Because there is no server backup, nothing remains.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience, is not directed at children under 13, and collects no data.

Halachic note

Times are computed astronomically and shown for convenience. For Shabbat times and practical halachah, verify against an authoritative luach. The app does not rule on halachic disputes.
